Types of Stainless Steel Wire Mesh
1. Square Mesh
Square mesh is typically woven with equal wire diameters and mesh counts in both the warp and weft directions. Rectangular mesh, by contrast, has different mesh counts for warp and weft. Square mesh can be woven in plain weave or twill weave, offering versatility for general filtration applications.
2. Dutch Weave Mesh
Dutch weave mesh, also known as Dutch cloth, is made from high-quality stainless steel wire. The key feature is the significant difference in wire diameter and density between the warp and weft directions, which enhances mesh thickness, filtration precision, and durability compared to square mesh.
Reverse Dutch Weave: A specialized filter mesh where the warp mesh count is significantly higher than the weft, and the warp wire diameter is smaller than the weft wire diameter.
